Be a Woman Who Fears God

Be a Woman Who Fears God

Be a woman who fears God. Shiprah and Puah were Hebrew midwives. The king of Egypt gave them a charge to kill any male child born on their watch. The women feared God and did not do what the king told them. Their fear of God made them courageous and praised because they saved the Hebrew boys. God blessed them with their own family because of it. We need to live our lives like these women. Our fear of God should be so great that we don’t allow anyone to convince us to sin.

Silence The Noise

Silence The Noise

In life, we have to silence the noise of negative people and negative situations. Negative people can make you lose focus of your goals and purpose. Negativity is a distraction that pauses your growth and your potential. Sometimes you have to remove negative people from your life. Please don’t be upset because it will work out in your favor.

David and Saul initially had an excellent loving relationship, but then Saul became jealous of David and sought to kill him. Just because a relationship starts well doesn’t mean it is going to end well. You have to know when it is time to go. After several attempts on his life, David knew that he needed to leave out and get away from Saul.

You, too, need to know when it is time to get away from negative people. Don’t stay long enough for them to kill your enthusiasm, your drive, or your purpose. Get out of the way as fast as you can to minimize the damage a malicious person can cause.

Here are 3 ways to silence negativity in your life.

Remove Yourself From Negativity.

Remove yourself from anyone or anything that makes you lose focus or distracts you from your purpose. It may be a close friend or even a family member. But you must remove yourself. Never give anyone permission to disrespect or mistreat you regardless of who they are to you. Be intentional about your surroundings. Let negative people go and limit your contact with them. Please do not allow them to monopolize your time or mind.

Remain Godly

Don’t allow insults, negative comments, or harmful actions to influence you. Even though it may hurt, use that energy to turn you into a better, more focused person. Recognize that you are blessed and that you belong to God. Our reflection should show we are one of his own so let Godly characteristics shine in and through you.

Seek Like-Minded Friends

Associate with people of like minds. Focus on people who will support your dreams and aspirations. Surround yourself with sincerely happy people that want to see you succeed and are eager to help you with your journey. People who will build you up and encourage you are essential in your life.

Lastly, to silence negativity, you must remove yourself from the people or person that causes negativity. Remain close to God, so you also don’t become toxic and then associate with people who will encourage you along the way.

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom where you are planted, so your light shines bright. Focus on making your surroundings look and feel better. Flourish where you are even if you don’t have the job you want or drive the car of your dreams. Position yourself to move to the next level of greater that God has for you. Do the best you can at your current job and gain as much knowledge as possible. God honors the labor you do. It makes no sense to ask God for a better job if you do not do your best with the current one. God has to know that He can trust you, so bloom where you are planted.

Jacob spent years making Laban rich by herding his sheep. This time prepared him for when he was able to leave on his own. Jacob manifested his gift right where he was. Jacob was able to display his talent and bloom where he was planted. He didn’t wait for the next position. He didn’t let the fact that Laban took advantage of him get in the way of him doing an excellent job while he was there.

Offer yourself where you are. Help others around you. Don’t just sit by and let everyone else do the work for you. Make the best effort to be bloom where you are. Jacob spent years making Laban rich, but it paid off for him in the end. He moved with his family and had wealth also. He didn’t allow the root of bitterness to get in the way of his assignment. God honored the faithfulness of his work.

God will also honor the work of your hands. Do your best and bloom where you are planted, so you will survive in the next place if you get uprooted.

Write the Vision

Write the Vision

have a clear visionA written vision is essential if you want your dreams to become a reality. You must visualize the image of where you want to be in the future to help manifest it. Planning for your future and expecting what you want to become or attain is imperative if you’re going to be successful.

We make choices every day that impact our future. If we are not making a conscious effort and have no direction on where we want to go, we could end up anywhere. Successful people are not successful haphazardly. There is an effort on their part every day to make their dreams a reality.

It makes no sense to have a thought or an idea without implementing a plan to achieve it. Write the vision on paper. Seeing your vision on paper makes it visible and tangible. Once your concept is on paper, you should devise a plan and set specific goals and deadlines to achieve them.

Setting goals keeps you focused and task-oriented. You should reserve time to work on a designated task every day and stick to the deadline. Sticking to the schedule helps you move closer towards your goals. Each day you work on your plan, is a day closer to achieving your goals, and before you know it, your vision materializes right before your eyes.
